All Passion Spent
by Vita Sackville-West
I quite enjoyed this, although not a lot happened. It's been on the library book pile for a long time (longer than I care to admit, although the man at the library has shamed me into reading the ones I've had out for the longest) and it happens that it crops up just a few books after I read the Fishing Fleet - which is about India and this also has references to India and colonial times so it seemed to fit with my current reading well. I'm not sure I'll be looking for anything else from Vita Sackville-West - it's meant to be her best book, I read it to improve my knowledge of 20th century classics and because I'd never read any of her books so I've already achieved my goals with it!
