Providence by Caroline Kepnes
2.0
Here’s my reading problem.
I *think* to myself that I should branch out and read books in different genres.
I rarely do.
Then, when I finally do, I pick a book that I end up not liking, which makes me even more disinclined to try that genre again in the future.
This is that book.
I’m sure it would have been a better read for me if I enjoyed supernatural stories. But I rarely do, and this wasn’t the exception.
It didn’t help that it happened to be set in the same town where I live, and there were certain factual errors that took me out of the story. (NH doesn’t have packies! The Telegraph is not a daily paper anymore! Legs and eggs is in Providence, not NH!)
