A really solid read! It goes into some tough topics and complicated teen dynamics in a way that doesn't read as either overplayed for the drama or not serious enough-- it very much read as the sort of forced casual you're stuck with as a teen when both trying to downplay and deal with something new and possibly irl-dangerous. I enjoyed it even if the setting felt ever-so-slightly-off as a read in a setting I mostly remember. A sturdy book about teen dynamics in a period setting, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a realistic teen graphic read.
