Dom and Valentina's history goes back two decades to when they were 16. They can never seem to get their act together and make their relationship work. As with Carm, in the previous book, it really took me a long time to warm up to Dom too. Finally hearing his full side of the story helped me fall in love with him. I'll be honest though I did perk up when it was implied that he's left handed ~ I have a weird thing about that.
