I had not at all read the description of the book and simply went off the title. And I apparently looked past anything following the bold parts of the title. I expected a more historical non-fiction book but was instead met with a very feminist non-fiction book. It was not what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. And I should not not expect at least some feminism in a book about witches.
I think it's a pretty solid entry in its field, but I honestly have almost no comparison so far.
