This book is so great! It teaches an important lesson about how we often try so hard to fit in and be like everyone else when that isn't what was intended for us. Whatever is "cool" at the time is constantly changing. It can be tiresome, discouraging, and sometimes very expensive if we always trying to be something we aren't. The current trend among the Wemmicks is to paint your nose green. Silly, right? But everyone wants one so they can fit in and be better than others. However, God created us each to be individuals. We are different for a reason. This book also teaches that when we make mistakes, God is waiting to take us back and help us work towards who He intended us to be. It may take some work and time, but it will bring lasting happiness. Beautiful pictures and story. A great message to readers of all ages.
