2021 update: The first time I read this series I remember wanting to devour every word straight away and being desperate to get my hands on the next one. It hasn't been the same experience this time around. I'm still enjoying the world and there are moments where I'm hooked, but I think I need to press pause on re-reading any more until I'm in a serious mood for urban fantasy.

This book killed me with its awesomeness. Another fun read by Rachel Caine and boy did she turn up the heat. New enemies, new powers and a constant struggle with the Djinn.
'Chill Factor' was pretty emotional - especially with the romance. God, Ms. Caine really knows how to cause trouble. I just wish she'd stop making trouble for David.
Can't wait to read 'Windfall'
