The Witch's Daughter
by Paula Brackston
Can I give this two and three-quarters stars? I liked "The Witch's Daughter" for its witchiness. This book wrapped me up in witchy worlds throughout history. At the end of the day, it felt lush to sink into. I also loved how Brackston weaved the Hollywood notion of witchery with historical witch trial accounts with new age Wicca; it all exists in this world and it all works! Ultimately, it is a guilty pleasure, as some of the dialogue and plot was very "Lifetime TV."
