Good Inside: A Guide to Becoming the Parent You Want to Be
by Becky Kennedy
This book was relatable on so many levels in both my personal and professional life. I think my favorite parts were the examples that showed adult exhibiting the same or similar behaviors as our children (right now I recall the story about the parent throwing the cereal box). These REALLY made me reflect on how we treat children when we focus on behavior instead of what’s underlying the behavior. I’m still not great at being calm & zen when parenting triplets feels out of control, but it helps to know this book exists and that I can go back to it again.
