The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken

Did not finish book.

I'm going to DNF this book. This is the second time I've tried reading it and I only managed to get 20 pages further. The problem is the writing style: it's pretentious and confusing. I feel like I'm trudging thru and not flipping pages at all. I have to reread passages just to try and figure out what's going on. I just don't like how the author/narrator explains the story.
I'm a sucker for a good Salem witch story but I can't get thru this one, which is really disappointing.
