This was very kdrama coded and I loved it. Both characters, Sadie and Julius, had depth and were well developed and I really like that because it makes this not just some silly goofy romance that I'd otherwise give 3 stars lol I also can relate to Sadie a lot because I was also once a people pleaser and believed that I always had to do better, that nothing I did was ever enough and I shouldn't bother anyone with my own feelings, so that made me really like her character and watch her overcome all of her fears. Also liked that for once the academic rivals were actually rivals who disliked each other and not just that "we're enemies but we're really not bc I've loved him/her since ever" and the development of their relationship was so well done and not rushed at all! I'm also glad it was a "closed door" book with no smut scenes, only that tension I really appreciate <3 the ending was also perfect and again felt exactly like watching a kdrama!
