I'll admit I bought this purely because I liked the cover and the red edges of the pages! However, I read it in 2-3 sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the way that the story was told in two different eras of time and from different points of view. A definite page turner and all my other current reads were left untouched until I had finished this. It was just over 400 pages, yet I felt it I had only read 200 or so. I'll definitely be buying Jessie's previous book.
