Now if y’all know me, y’all if Kennedy Ryan is writing it, best believe Kina is reading it! I had to read more of her work and I kept seeing “The Kingmaker” so I scooped it up and started reading.
Y’all…….this is a must read! First of all I fell in love with the main characters names…get into to Lennix + Maxim. Screams main character energy!
The back and forth love story that spreads across years plus the political side of an indigenous beautiful, intelligent and resilient woman fighting for her people + the upper class privledged, intelligent and powerful heir to an oil company that he doesn’t want is a great story and the spice between them is off the charts!
“The Kingmaker” ends in a cliffhanger and if you’re like me, you will immediately run and pick up “The Rebel King” which I am currently reading!
