Can I just say how gorgeous that cover is? Simply stunning. Then I find out that this is going to be a Hollywood-based story? I already know what kind of story this would be:

This story revolves around the production of the movie The Siren which is being funded and starred by Cole Power, a very popular actor, and his ex-wife, Stella. The story switches between three women; Stella, who is trying to rise to fame once more despite being publicly known as unstable for the past decade; Taylor, who is a trying to turn the tables of her career; and Felicity who has a mysterious past.

Based on the initial four chapters I have read, I could tell that this book would be well-detailed. There were a lot of getting to know the characters, scenery explanation, production background, and background stories. However, the plot barely moved at this point.

What I think would be the strength of this book is the characters. Each POV drew me in and I am curious on where this would lead. I sense they would be fully realized characters. The weakest so far had to be Taylor's. There were just huge chunks of paragraphs where she goes overdetailing things.

In sum, I think this book sounds very promising with great writing and setting. I would recommend this to people who likes to know about celebrities and Hollywood drama. Possibly, to the people who enjoyed [b:The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo|32620332|The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo|Taylor Jenkins Reid|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1498169036l/32620332._SY75_.jpg|46885151]. I think this would make a great beach read.
