I think the book was trying to be edgy, cool, and different, but it ended up romanticizing mental illness. It seems like the author of this book was writing about feelings that she's never experienced. I think the plot was a little confusing. I don't understand how the mental health fit in with the school project. It was a bit jumbled and overall, I was let down. I thought it was going to be a fantastic book about life, death, friendship, and love, and it just fell short for me. I'm sure other people love the book, but, for me, it was lacking.
