This book was some firsts for me.  My first MFM and my first stepsibling romance.  Overall I enjoyed it.  It was entertaining and I learned some things, LOL.  FMC Arden is a professional volleyball player for the Florida Flare and our MMC’s Hawk and Jacks are baseball players for the Florida Fury.  Jacks is Arden’s stepbrother, but they’ve had unrequited feelings for one another for a majority of their lives.  Hawk didn’t have the easiest home life growing up and he has developed into a dark and broody man.  He and Jacks have been best friends for many years.  Hawk also fell for Arden upon meeting her the first time, but out of respect for Jacks and his feelings, Hawk never did anything about it.  That is until Arden becomes their roommate.  After some delicious tension Hawk and Arden CONNECT and soon after Jacks stumbles upon Hawk and Arden and things escalate from there.  Arden and Hawk both dealt with anxiety and the author handled this topic well.  The author also handled the topic of Arden, Hawk, and Jacks disclosing their relationship to their family and friends and the potential fallout from that disclosure well.  There was a bit of a third act breakup, but that too was well done.
