Just when I thought Sapkowski's way of writing about women couldn't get any worse, it did. The way he writes about women rubs me up the wrong way in all the books but this one was especially gross and bad.
I thought this book was going to be a collection of short stories a bit like The Last Wish but set before then. I hoped I would get to know things like how Dandelion and Geralt first met or maybe about some intriguing Witcher contracts Geralt has done but nope it's a long form story about Geralt trying to get his swords back and... I just lost interest in it so quickly.
