Torment by Lauren Kate

5.0

Oh my god. That is all I can say. I love love loved Torment. From page 1 to page 452, I was blown away.
I hadn't any trouble getting into this book, because I read it Fallen before it. I didn't think Fallen was a great, worth-five-stars-book, so I had no high hopes for Torment. But after I read a few chapters, my opinion about the Fallen-series had changed completely! I loved it.

****Spoilers****

1. I don't like Daniël in this book. He is supposed to be her boyfriend, 'the one', but I didn't feel that way about him. He showed up a couple of times and when he was with Luce, he didn't say anything that mattered. All he could do was just fly away and being all selfish. But that's just my point of view about him.

2. I just love Miles. I find him a better boyfriend than Daniël. When Luce and Miles kissed, I jumped off my bed, because I was so excited. Miles is sweet and funny.

3. Torment had quite a few humour moments in it. I laughed more than when I read 'Fallen'.
