The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith
4.0

This was a hard read. It is full of modern day woe on so many levels combined with the Manson Family, Jim Jones and any other cult that feeds a generation of lost, craving, liturgy starved, and the emotionally neglected. It is grim portrayal as there are some basic truths in it. Of course, it was compelling. I read straight through if but I serious doubt if I will re-read it. I was to hear JK speak of her inspiration. What drove her to write this dark, urban tale that scrapes the bottom of humanity or, perhaps, never comes close to touching it at all.
