I rate it a 4.8 actually. The love I have for this book??!!!😭❤️🫶🏽
Wow! This book was actually good. It made me cry, it made me angry, it made me pause and think about my life and it left my jaw wide opened. The first book that made tear drops fall. The way my mouth flew open when I realized the person speaking in the first person was Vainne and not Isabella??? Isabella died in the arm of Gaetan when the reunited??? Sophie died???? She never told Julian who his father was??? I’m left with many complex questions and feelings. Overall, it was a very good book. Very different from what I normally read, but it’s a start to a new adventure. By the way, this book put a lot of new information I never knew or would have imagined about World War Two.
Also, as I began reading the book, I made predictions on how I thought the book would go and I was so sure. Well, let’s just say none of them were accurate😭😂🤚🏼.
