huldra 's review for:
Fates and Furies
by Lauren Groff
i was really excited for the second half of the book, because i thought it would be a re-litigation of their marriage from mathilde's point of view, centred for example on the fact that lotto never did any housework (revealed as an aside when he's outed as a misogynist). but instead the second half was a gone girl-esque sequence that i really did not care for, and which left me actively more and more annoyed as i rushed to finish it.
