Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

3.0

A fairly straightforward thriller that gave me Rosemary’s Baby mixed with Parasite vibes. Still, I didn’t care for this as much as I wanted to. I’d heard great things about Riley Sager, but I didn’t see anything special about this. I wish the tone had been more eerie from the beginning. It really lacked atmosphere that I would associate with a good thriller— a creeping sense of dread, a chill running down my spine. This instead was largely a leisurely summer afternoon read.
