I wish we could have seen more of Dorian and Basil!! Of course, their relationship is slightly deeper in the unedited version. I can’t explain it, but I really like that Dorian didn’t have a redemption arc. I liked that everything ended after he died. He didn’t become a better person and that’s okay! It didn’t make the book any less good, it actually made it better.
