this is my least favourite anne book. too many letters from anne to gilbert and no one else and the romantic/dirty bits aren't even included. mostly characters you give zero fucks about because they pretty much only exist in this book. it pretty much just passes time until anne marries gilbert & if that's how it's gonna feel, maybe lucy maud shouldn't have bothered?
