informative fast-paced

Very informative but increasingly aggravating to learn just how horrid the Facebook company has turned out to be. While this book might have been written in retaliation by a fired employee, the vast details of internal documents and policies and practices make me believe it’s most likely true, which reveals the greed and (yes) carelessness of the tech business. The book is a good narrative of the author’s life during her employment at Facebook — even as she paints herself with much more integrity than anyone else — but it’s also a bit of insider baseball into what brought us to the current social media climate. For that, and for details of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, this book is worth reading.
