Mia Sheridan just has a special talent for writing emotional book no matter what the setting is.
Both Jak and Harper are sad and living through their childhood trauma, every character in this book lost someone which adds even more sadness and heaviness to the story. This is honestly such a tragic and heartbreaking book and it made my heart hurt but at the same time seeing Jak and Harper getting to know each other and fall in love was so heartwarming.
The murder & mystery part was really unique and I enjoyed figuring out who was involved in what and who killed who, the last twist blew my mind.
You guys I just love the emotions Mia Sheridan gives me when I read her books, I just can’t explain it… If you never picked her books this is your sign truly.
