Wonderful read that explores the power dynamic between men and women when they teenage girls of this world suddenly develop the ability to channel electric shock through their hands. Alderman takes on a global effects of this power shift as well as deeply personal effects. Through multiple character storylines around the world, you get a vast perspective of this global phenomenon. So well written, reminds me of Margaret Atwood’s writing style.
