Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

3.0

Another 3.5 (3.7?) star experience - incredibly graceful writing that propels the story forward, interesting and underreported historical context (the 1967 secession of Biafra from Nigeria), compelling blend of scenes from domestic lives (the fidelity! the infidelity!) and graphic moments of war. Characters perhaps a little two-dimensional, but this didn't really take away from my enjoyment. Ms. Adichie is a lovely, lovely writer.
