A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf

5.0

Oh, How I love being a woman!!!!!!!!!!

Took me a long time to read, between university and living abroad, but I feel this way is better, since she explores so much in such a short book. It is also very dense. Ultimately I realized that I am a woman and I want to write, I have money and I have a room of my own, but still hold back when writing, even when writing in my diary. I strive to be like Woolf and blodly rummage through my brain, where I might find ideas I've been storing away, find the androgynous mind (hopefully) and mainly courage to write.
Now "Orlando" makes much more sense, and I'm sure deeper I go into her fiction and essays, everything will come together at once.
I could not recommend this book enough! <3
