I really loved this one! The timeline is all over the place - telling you just what you need to know when you need to know it. Louise (aka Mrs. Wilt) is a delight - a spunky older woman trying to make amends. Tanner (a 20 year old college student) moves in with her to help out after Louise comes home from hip surgery. Then one night they leave in a jaguar to get George in California.
Nothing is as it seems - Louise seems to know what's up, but she shares just enough information, never too much. I love how she mentored Tanner - really saw her when no one else in her life could.
Over the course of a road trip across the country, they learn more about each other - and themselves. It's a truly delightful read!!
