The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

5.0

this is the fluffiest representation I’ve ever read. Angst who? Tears? What tears? This is just a wholesome story of buttons, finding your home, garden tools, bellhops, Pomeranians, island and nature protectors. And two loving fathers.
And, of course, it is a story about hope

______

i solemnly swear to read this book every time I'm depressed as a form of self-care. yes, i am a person that cries about buttons. and about the ocean. about the nightmares of a 6 year old child and a boy that is taught that he can feel small but also big. and that every person is special and should be seen. and that there is so much more to us than we ourselves see.
