Wilde in Love by Eloisa James
4.0

This was a fun read.

I loved Alaric. He was so against his notoriety and I laughed at the ways he handled things (mostly ignoring the women, but still). I loved the way he cared for his family and even Willa, before he fully acknowledged things. After he realized how he felt, really liked how he admitted to himself (and to Willa) how he wanted her to make the choice. He acknowledged how much he wanted her/what he wanted overall, but he was willing to give her the space (minus a few improper moments) to come to the conclusion herself.

Willa was great. I loved that she wasn't falling all over herself to impress Alaric and she actually kind of wanted nothing to do with him at the beginning. Then, as they spent time together, she started to see Alaric vs Lord Wilde and she decided what she really wanted out of the whole thing. I laughed at the way she handled certain people after the engagement was first announced. And the way she was with Sweetpea (who was absolutely adorable, BTW). I also liked the way she handled Prudence; in the bog, she kept her head and knew that Alaric was coming for her, so she just did her best to just get away.

Prudence was bat crap crazy! Good lord, I wanted someone to send her packing right after she first showed up. (Although her presence definitely led to some good things for Willa and Alaric). I'm glad that nothing happened to Sweetpea either (she even got some revenge!)

North and Diana has me wondering...after the end of chapter 36, there's obviously more going on here and I want to know more! And Lavinia and Parth just seem like the kind of relationship that's going to end up with them in bed together.
