I love the illustrations! Ruby is adorable and the wolf is so fluffy! I particularly appreciate the birds that cameo in the forest on this adventure and the snail Ruby helps along the way. This is a fun story about the bravery and kindness of an imaginative little girl, and the writing flows well with beautifully descriptive words that aid the colorful artwork in pulling the readers into the adventure with her. The ending is a predictable moral, but it still felt satisfying to see play out because of how sweet it is.
