It’s easier to write a review of a book you hated rather than a book you loved. What can I say, I loved this. I didn’t think I could enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Circe, but I think I liked it even more...as a love story, it was entirely satisfying in every way. I found it interesting that the myth of Achilles bring dipped into the Styx and being vulnerable only in his heel was not mentioned in the story, and cursory research found that this was a later addition to the myth surrounding Achilles.
