Say You'll Remember Me by Katie McGarry
5.0

Thi is the first book I was able to finish in months. I guess only Katie could pull that stunt off.
I won't bw reciting the plot because there is a blurb just above this review, but I have to point out just how well Katie McGarry pulls off realistic(ish) YA novels - always set in Kentucky, of course.

Drix and Elle may seem like an unlikely pairing - but then again, most love interests in fiction are. What I like about them is how layered and real they are, and how I could related to one and the other in some way, even though I lead a completely different life from both.

It's a beautiful, mostly innocent love story, the likes of which you can rarely read these days. I think it may also have had something to do with my latest attempt at learning to play guitar.

I'd love to read more from these characters and all the others, so I'm totally hoping this turns into a series like all of the others I've read from Katie in past years.
