I loved Gael and Jordan's relationship so much. I loved that they had loved each other for so long, so much so that everyone around them knew it. I loved that they were best friends first. I loved THEM, and I loved them together.

Jordan's love for Gael was absolutely breathtaking.

The years of heartache. The years of separation. I would do it all again, knowing that, in the end, we get to have a lifetime of moments like this.

“You would do that for me?” “I would literally do anything for you.”

You can’t turn the light off and expect to see. You can’t take away the flavor and still expect the food to taste good. You can’t live when you’ve lost purpose. You can’t love when your heart has stopped beating.

But. BUT.
SpoilerI hate cheating. I just wish Gael hadn't cheated on Elena. Clearly, we all could see that they didn't belong together, that Gael wasn't in love with her, and that he was meant to be with Jordan. But fuck I hate cheating. I was relieved to see that Gael really did have serious regrets about it, but I just wish he figured it out before he went to Vegas.

Aside from that, their love story was beautiful, and watching them lose each other and then find their way back to each other broke my heart into a million pieces. It was a stunning representation of true soulmates. Gael's heart and soul told him when his head couldn't.

“For so long”—my voice is hoarse and thick, the words on my tongue waiting a lifetime to come out—“I have learned to love you from afar, and I’m begging you please, please let me love you up close.”
