The Skinnytaste Cookbook: Light on Calories, Big on Flavor by Heather K. Jones, Gina Homolka

5.0

I have not purchased a cookbook in a very long time because I use different websites to find recipes and just didn't feel like there was a need. After making a number of recipes from the SkinnyTaste blog I thought I would check out the new cookbook. I checked it and bought it. So glad I did. I have made 9 of the recipes thus far and they have all been wonderful. I am sneaking vegetables into dinners that I normally would not think to use. I can't recommend it enough. The recipes are delicious and straightforward and the book itself is a beautiful book. Recipes I have made that I will make again- Shrimp and Grits, Make-Ahead Western Omelet "Muffins", Vegetable Fried Brown Rice, Too-Good-to-Be-True Baked Potato Soup. These are just a few. If you are on the fence about buying it, I encourage you to give it chance.
