The Last American Vampire
by Seth Grahame-Smith
I didn't think it would be possible but I think I like this more than Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. But I guess that's no surprise when this book revolved around the character I found most interesting from the first.
This book is just as well researched as the first, interweaving incredible historical detail with the supernatural. I loved the cameos of famous historical figures, all of which seemed totally in line with what I've heard about them. This book took me to some of my favorite historical events, such as the founding of Jamestown and Rasputin's manipulation of the Romanov royal family.
I loved this from start to finish! There were awesome twists and cheeky moments throughout. This was well worth the wait. Such a worthy followup to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
