The Life Council: 10 Friends Every Woman Needs by Laura Tremaine

2.0

It’s not that the book was bad, I just think calling this book advice or perspective is misleading. It’s more-so a woman recounting the meaningful relationship in her life, which I enjoyed, but I don’t feel that this book actually dives into how to apply her stories to our own lives or reveals anything particularly helpful. Read if you go into it as a book of essays about someone who is fortunate enough to surround themselves with wonderful women. Skip if you were looking for advice, perspective, or insight to apply to your own life.
