Andrew's Brain
by E.L. Doctorow
Wow, this book was... actually not at all what I expected it to be.
One of those things being 'tragic.' I echoed our unseen audience on numerous occasions with a mournful, 'oh Andrew.' I at one point angrily closed the book because an event was so unfair that I decided I would just go to bed instead of reading on.
All in all it was a very interesting book, with quite a few great lines and moments. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is that there were a few moments where it dragged on.
Definitely worth a read, definitely recommended. This is definitely a favourite of this year's new releases.
