I could not have imagined a better ending to this series. And though I say that, I have no idea how I’m supposed to say goodbye to these vicious boys and their fearless darling. Every page of this book kept me on edge, wondering what would happen and how they would fix the mess they’d found themselves in. It’s sad to see this series come to an end, I could devour books about these 5 for the rest of my days, but this is absolutely the ending that these lost boys deserved.
Tinkerbell has always been the villain of the story, but Nikki has made her a terrifying force of nature. Every moment of her presence filled me with dread. And while Tilly was never truly innocent, she became so much more than a queen with a singular vision in this book, I hope that if we get more books in this world, that perhaps she will find her own happy ending one day.
