Shades of Doon by Lorie Langdon, Carey Corp

I found this slightly dragging compared to the first two books... it took me much longer to finish in fact. I think it was all the lovey-dovey between Jamie and Veronica and Duncan and Kenna. I get that they're soulmates and they're in love, but do I really need to be reminded every two paragraphs? I also feel that somehow Vee and Kenna are losing some of their identity.
I expected the premise of the book - them being stuck in Alloway - to take a larger chunk of the story, not merely a couple of chapters. I did love that cliffhanger though and definite need to read book 4!
