Alright, I would have given this book 5 stars, because it was absolutely amazing and I LOVED it, but there were a few parts that I feel like could have been a little more.
The relationship between Makani and Ollie was amazing, and I did like the connection and how it actually grew throughout the book, like how it started off very awkward and eventually got to a solid foundation and cute couple.
HOWEVER
the whole secret Makani had, to me, was a little oversold. When we finally found out what it was, it felt like Makani had been way to dramatic about it, like sure, it was definitely bad but it wasn't THAT bad. I was expected armed robbery or something like that. But still, it was really good and I enjoyed the story.
The only other part i was a little down about was the ending, I wish there was just a little bit more closure with everything because it definitely feels like there's roe to be said. Still, I'm still really happy with David's ending. that was very good.
