Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

5.0

After five evenings of listening, reading, breathing this scandalous romance novel by Leo Tolstoy, I was left dazzled and confused. I felt enraged at the questions raised by Anna and Lenvin in their last moments as I tossed and turned in my bed all night sifting through a consciousness where the line between thoughts and dreams were completely intermingled.

At the very least, I could say that Anna Karenina is not a simple romantic satire, but a book that probes into your soul, questions you keep buried deep within your subconscious.
