Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.

When you reach a point in a book where you find yourself asking "What am I reading?", it's time to walk away. The prologue where

she informed the reader about a backstory event involving a side character's affair was a red flag that I wasn't going to like this book.

. There were so many plot points from the jump and not one of them had to do with the synopsis on the book jacket. Also Reuben is the WORST!! How is this a Christmas classic when one of the main side characters is the biggest a**hole to everyone?
