I liked the book but sometimes it really felt like if it were any slower, I would have given up. I haven't read a mystery in a while, and I liked the characters and their relationships, and French's style of writing.
Typically I like it when books don't end all wrapped up neatly with a little bow, but I felt like I wanted a little bit more closure here. Yes, they caught the murderer but other than that there was just too much left open for me.
