Blaze by Stephen King

4.0

I thought this was a very well done book. Stephen King's explanation of the novel was very truthful at the beginning of the novel. Although the story didn't really present a challenging unique plot, it was still a good story and I'm happy to read it. He also mentioned that the he liked the 'flashbacks' better than the actual story. I would have to concur. The flashbacks presented the best stories and I was starting to really look forward to them. Learning about Blaze, his history and how he got to where he was today was very interesting and I started to feel for the guy; despite what con he tried to pull on his own which would be horrifying to any parent.

I enjoyed the non-monster like story Stephen King had to offer. As per usual, I found myself connected with virtually ever character in his novel.
