FINALLY, an ending where I didn't lose my mind because it was so damn half-cooked and stupid. It was still a bit of the cliffhanger, but whatever. I actually liked some of the characters, and

I really hoped Hugo wasn't the killer which he wasn't, but he died rip.

Although the Haunting was much better, the ending completely ruined the book for me. So. Enough rambling. If you can get past the rather slow first half, it's a decent read
