Interesting story, but for me it lagged a little in the middle. liked how the story focused on the moments just before and just after his life, rather than the first moments and the last moments. The main drawback for me was the lack of connection between the first and second parts didn't feel like one informed the other that much (and vice versa), or added up to something greater than them separately.
