The last half of the book was what did it for me. I have to clap my hands and applaud this author for giving us a FMC that was not wishy washy and was unrelenting towards her goal once her mind was made up. The forced marriage and close proximity had me tingling with giddy from their push and pull. I was a little too giggly whenever Keahi says “my wife” and his brother and second in command calls him out on his bullshit every time. Although it was really slow to get into, it ended in a big bang. I want Sabine to unleash her powers more because she was downright savage for bringing the King of Solstice to his knees. I need more Sabine and Keahi!!!
